Even without the Knitting Factory around anymore, I don't expect lightning to strike twice, but this year's FETES is mighty impressive. Gelatine and Echostream are reasons to leave the house on any occasion. Seeing Swinging Popsicle for the first time has my heart pounding. I have their CDS courtesy of JapanFiles, a long time co-sponser with Karaterice and now Superglorious. This time around they have a new CD and I can't wait to hear it live before purchasing it. Knowing promoter Hayden's taste in music, Kokusyoku Sumire is going to be this year's new discovery. I can't wait to see them. In my bones, I know we will be talking about them for a long time.
