We’re very happy to reveal the full band line up for the Far East To East Showcase 2010.   In addition to the internationally renowned duo Puffy AmiYumi, we’re also adding Boom Boom Satellites, Zazen Boys and Echostream.  So Sunday October 10th 2010, Irving Plaza is going to be filled with the wall to wall sounds of pop rock, electro rock, indie and alternative.  At a ticket price of $23.00 is this promises to be the best FETES we’ve ever!   There is nothing better than experiencing such an eclectic mix of highly talented artists share the same stage.  Except for a nice MLT – a mutton, lettuce and tomato sandwich, where the mutton is nice and lean and the tomato is ripe.. oh wait.  Tickets are still available, get them here via LiveNation.

The Far East To East Showcase is entering it’s 3rd year and we’re working very hard to make this the most fun event for the 2010.  Many artists were considered and several locations scouted.  We’re very happy to announce that the FETES 2010 headliner will be the wonderful duo: Puffy Ami Yumi F.E.T.E.S. 2010 will take place on October 10th at Irving Plaza.  Tickets are $22 advance and $25 at the doors, they will go on sale on Thursday (July 15th).  Click the jump below for more details.

Masters of the ObviousThe long running garage rock band M.O.T.O. Saturday April 10th looks like a big day as far as Japanese events are concerned.

In Washington D.C., The Japan-American Society of D.C. will present the 50th Annual Sakura Matsuri Street Festival from 11:00am – 6:00pm.  DJ Hayden Honey of Superglorious will end off the fun filled day with groovy set of Japanese music.

We’re happy to announce that Chatmonchy, an all girl rock band from Japan, will be playing a special gig at Cake-Shop next week! On their first U.S. tour, Chatmonchy will stop over at Cake-Shop in Lower East Side to perform their raw, energy-infused melodic rock music. This is definitely not to be missed.
